He was sorted into Gryffindor with his brother, much to many people’s surprise. When he sat down on the stool and had the sorting hat placed on his head he said that he didn’t mind what house he was put in and just wanted the hat to place him into the house that he thought was best for him. The hat saw his bravery, of not just understanding but being accepting of all the houses no matter what their stereotypes are, and sorted him into Gryffindor. Albus left feeling slightly disappointed that he wasn’t sorted into Slytherin but understood the hat reasoning and happily went off to join his housemates and cousins.

He and his siblings got along very well, even though he and James argued on a daily basis, he loved both of them with all his heart. He and Lily had a very loving bond that they would describe as being ‘best friends’, Lily was always there to make him laugh even when he tried not to. She was his complete opposite but they couldn’t have gotten along better. Unlike James, when it came towards Lily’s boyfriends he was very understanding and never really liked to interfere too much with his sisters love life. He and James had an odd relationship, James would always tease his younger brother but he wouldn’t let anyone else do the same. If anyone so much as called him a silly name they would find themselves in the hospital wing for weeks. At first Albus found this immensely embarrassing but after time he realised how much he loved it. He and his father had similar personalities and he and Ginny, though on the outside seemed very different, are like two peas in a pod. He struggles, at first, with the expectations of being the son of the ‘Boy Who Lived’ but after time realises that it doesn’t define who he is as a person and refuses to let other people’s opinions of who or what he will turn out to be affect him.

He and Rose had decided from the first moment they walked on the Hogwarts Express that they would always be there for each, no matter how many times they argued they would remain close. However, in less than five minutes after making that deal they were arguing, Albus had seen Scorpius Malfoy sitting in a compartment all by himself and had chosen to sit with him much to Rose’s protests. He found Scorpius very interesting and funny in a weird sort of way. They all stayed in the compartment together but Rose, for the first time, remained extremely quiet. As much as he didn’t want to hurt Rose’s feelings he couldn’t help but make friends with the Malfoy. The two had a mutual love for Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts as well as both wanted to try out for their Quidditch teams as soon as possible.

Albus immediately settled into classes becoming one of the smartest in his year, sometimes even beating Rose but he never told her that. He was one of those kinds of people that didn’t brag about getting full marks in next to every test, instead he was that kind of person who would help you if you didn’t understand a question or take time out of his day to tutor you on a lesson that you found particularly difficult. He did tutoring with both Scorpius and Alice, helping Scorpius with Herbolgy and Alice with Charms, when he realised that he really enjoyed teaching people. He took a quick interest with Alice but never really had the courage to tell her but he never made it uncomfortable between the two and tried at all cost not to make his feelings obvious.

He made a bit of a scene after he found out that James had asked Alice out after he had told him not to. James not realising that Albus had said that because he like her himself, had asked her out. James did like Alice but told his little brother that he would stay away until Albus was ready to admit his true feelings. Albus told him that he wasn’t going to tell Alice anytime soon so James took things into his own hands and did it for him. Albus was at first furious with his stupid ass brother but after Alice told him that she felt the same way Albus couldn’t thank James more. The two tried out a relationship in their seventh year but they struggled due to Albus still being convinced that Alice doesn’t like him as much as he does her. No matter how hard he tries he could never tell Alice his true feelings towards her and it started to get awkward with the two of them deciding that they should just remain friends until the right time.

After finishing Hogwarts, he contemplates all his options after many request from Scorpius to join him for a gap year he takes a year out in France. When he returns, he decides to do some work in the Ministry with Hermione until he is certain about what he wants to do. After working there for two years he joins a training course/ job application for another department where he meets Alice again, having not seen her in a little under two years they have a lot to catch up on. After losing the job to Alice he tells her everything, the truth about how he feels about her. He says those lovely three words and she replies with the usual four and he asks her to marry him. They marry quickly and quietly in a beautiful little church in Godric’s Hollow and settle down in a house not far from Harry and Ginny.

Albus takes up a job offer as Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, going back to the enjoyment of tutoring he used to have when he was younger. He and Teddy grow closer, as Teddy has been working at Hogwarts for a few years when Albus arrives, which is something Albus is very happy about because he always felt that when he was younger the two struggled to have as close a relationship as James and Lily did with Teddy. Despite the fact that he works at Hogwarts, he Floo’s home every night to spend most of his spare time with his family, his and Alice’s two kids.

Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy || Slytherin || November 18th

Scorpius would have been sorted into Slytherin but that wasn’t his only choice but his final decision. He could have just like Draco been sorted into Ravenclaw, which was however unknown to Draco but the sorting hat admitted it to Scorpius. He would have tried to make friends with Albus as quickly as possible and he was very surprised when Albus accepted without a second glace. He was of course disappointed when his new best friend wasn’t sorted into the same house as him but he didn’t treat Albus any differently because of the house he was placed in. He wasn’t his father.

He and Draco have a very loving and understanding relationship. Scorpius looks up to and admires his father even after finding out about his past. Nobody really knows the true relationship between the three Malfoy’s and when they find out they are shocked, as it is such a dramatic change to the old Malfoy’s. Many people refuse to believe that the Malfoy’s are actually capable of love but Scorpius doesn’t let it faze him. He loves his parents and it doesn’t matter that he is a Malfoy because he deserves a loving family relationship.

He and Albus would have got along from the start but he struggled with his cousin, Rose. No matter how hard he tried to get her to even talk to him, Rose would pay Scorpius little to no attention to him. He could tell almost immediately that Rose and Albus were close and not matter how hard he tried he always felt very jealous when he saw the two laughing and joking about together. He knew that their friendship was very important and didn’t want to come in between it. However after Rose saw how much Scorpius and Albus liked each other she decided that it wasn’t fair the way she was acting and let it go, soon realising that Scorpius wasn’t anything like her father had described. The three became very close after Rose chose to be more civil to Scorpius but it didn’t last long because Rose found a new friend in the youngest Longbottom, Alice.

Being a Slytherin, Scorpius took a huge interest into Potions and became very good at it but he always preferred the pitch to the classroom. He was an amazing Quidditch player and becoming the Slytherin seeker in his second year. He asks Harry for lots of advice, after Draco suggests it, and the two become very close. Harry accepts Scorpius for who he is and not what his family was. With the help from Scorpius Draco and Harry talk for the first time since the end of the war.

He and Rose have a very odd relationship. Scorpius has a crush on Rose for a long time but Rose never really takes an interest in him, saying that they are just friends. In third year Scorpius tells Rose that he loves her and the two share their first kiss together in the middle of the Quidditch pitch in front of everyone. After, Scorpius asks Rose out but she says no, saying that she doesn’t have feelings for him in any way besides friends and Scorpius leaves a little heartbroken. Finding that he can’t talk to Albus about it he has no one to talk to until he comes across a little red haired girl who had recently gotten into an argument with the very same girl. Lily helps Scorpius to understand that maybe Rose wasn’t the one for him and that he will soon find his soulmate in someone else. He understands and lets go of Roses’ rejection and goes back to Albus, happier than he was before.

He and Lily keep up a great friendship for each other, both being there whenever the other gets into a disagreement with anyone. Only after three years of hanging around together at Hogwarts, spending Christmases and other holidays at her house, does Scorpius realise that he likes Lily. He asks Albus about it first before he asks her out but Albus is over the moon and tells him to ask her out straight away, saying that they can finally be brothers by law not just saying it to people. Lily says yes and the two have a very close relationship. Rose, however, is the only one who doesn’t approve of this new relationship between her cousin and her crush. She tells Scorpius that she was wrong to say no and that she loves him too but Scorpius tells her that he is now in love with Lily. Rose accepts it after she sees how much her cousin loves Scorpius back and tells her that she is okay with it.

Lily and Scorpius keep up a relationship until Lily leaves Hogwarts but they leave it in a good place and the two move happily into new relationships. Scorpius tries dating Rose but after three months the two know that they don’t belong together. He becomes closer with a another Weasley girl and after putting off asking her for months he asks out Lucy and the two move in together. They have a slow but loving relationship because Scorpius’ wants to be sure about this one. After Lucy gets pregnant Scorpius realises that there is no one else for him and they get married. Scorpius works in Lucy studio as a painter, which shocks almost everyone, and him and Lucy raise their kids in the gallery.

Freya Parkinson || Slytherin || Prefect || November 19th

She would have been sorted into Slytherin like her mother, no one was surprised there. She was in the same year as Hugo and Lily and was constantly told by her mother to avoid both of them at all cost, however Freya hates doing what her mother tells her and starts to become friends with Hugo. While Lily finds Freya annoying and self-centred, Hugo thinks she is nice, sweet and funny. She is good at Potions but her favourite subject is Muggle Studies. (I imagined Pansy’s face when she found out about this and I laughed a little bit. Okay maybe a lot!).

She gets along far better with her father than she does with her mother. She understands pretty quickly that her mother doesn’t love her father, keeping her last name and using it for Freya too, but Freya loves her father more than anything. He is a very rich pureblood but doesn’t believe in the whole blood purity thing, in fact he is very accepting of both Muggleborns and Muggles. He is the owner of a huge muggle company in the centre of London. Freya often argues with her mother on a daily basis as she is very opposed to her mother’s beliefs. As soon as she reaches eleven she leaves home permanently, never moving back during the holidays, and barely ever talks to her mother only speaking to her when she has too. She always wishes that she had a sibling but her mother never tried again and after being upset about it for a long time she lets it go. 

Freya finds herself drifting towards Hugo in their second year when they get seated next to each other in Muggle Studies. She is shocked when he even talks to her but she finds that the two of them are very similar and have the same interests. She even starts to think of him as the brother she never had and whenever she had a problem it would be Hugo that she would tell. She liked that Hugo would sometimes just listen to her talking, not putting his own opinion in unless she asked for it. She found that she could confess everything to him and enjoyed some of the jokes he would pull or the amazing advice he would give. The only thing that Freya wishes was better about their relationship is that Lily didn’t hate her so much. At first she thought it was simply because of who her family was but the more she thought about the more she realised that Lily was just jealous that she was spending more time with her friend than she was. After much pushing from Hugo the two started a civil conversation together and soon realised that Lily wasn’t that bad. The three became good friends even though they all were from separate houses, Lily in Gryffindor, Hugo in Hufflepuff and Freya in Slytherin. Neither could be found without the other.

She is close with Scorpius Malfoy as well and he coaches her in Quidditch to help her get on the team. After practicing for months she gets in as a beater and in her first game she plays against Hufflepuff. She is glad that Hugo is in goals so she doesn’t have to hit him nearly as much as the other members, it all goes quite well with only one person ends up in the hospital wing and he’s from the Slytherin team. Hufflepuff win by sixty points but Freya doesn’t mind and congratulates Hugo on his amazing saving skills in the goals. However, her second game is against Gryffindor, which doesn’t go too well. Freya ends up accidentally hitting Fred II with a bludger after he popped up out of nowhere. After talking him to the hospital wing and after apologising a million times Lily tells her to leave and that she doesn’t want to talk to her until she knows that Fred will be okay. Fred makes it out okay, waking up the next day laughing it off and saying it was actually a lot of fun, the rush and all. James doesn’t buy it and tells Lily to stay away from Freya, saying that she shouldn’t have been hanging around with her in the first place.

After six months of trying to get Lily to talk to her Freya stops trying. She and Hugo start to get into more arguments and she struggles to be around him. The two slowly drift apart and Freya finds herself alone for the first time in her life. She doesn’t have anyone, no sibling to talk to about it and her father isn’t replying to her owls, she even starts to miss her mother fussing over her all the time. She slowly starts to lose her loving nature and care free attitude until Fred comes to talk to her. He makes her laugh and smile again and for the first time since she stopped talking to Hugo she feels happy again. She doesn’t become friends with Hugo and Lily afterwards but does frequently talk to Fred, however, after Fred leaves school she starts making friends within her house.

After she leaves Hogwarts she misses the friendship she used to have so she tracks down Hugo and the two rekindle their broken friendship. After losing her father, Hugo is there for her and when Freya starts to confine herself to her room, Hugo is the only one who can even get her to talk or even eat. With them spending so much time together, they realise that there is some sort of feelings between them that neither really understand. Due to this it takes them a really long time to admit to each other that they even like each other.

When Freya realises that she is pregnant, the two tie the knot quietly and when the baby is born both Hugo and Freya stop work for a while to raise their baby together. Freya goes back to work after a while but Hugo is a stay at home Dad for their three children.

Grace Hermione Longbottom- Holland Roden 

She would have been sorted into Hufflepuff like her mother but she possessed many similarities to her father. She and Lorcan became immediate friends after being sorted together and having the same crazy, yet funny, personalities. She quickly fits in with the Hufflepuff’s and becomes one of the team very quickly. She in not always the brightest student but can always make a boring lesson a little bit more fun.

She and Neville have slight arguments about her behaviour but slowly he realises that she is not going to be tamed that easily. He lets her do her own thing as long as she doesn’t do anything stupid. Out of the three Longbottom’s she is the loudest and funniest. She gets along very well with her siblings even though she and Frank are famed for having the loudest and most dramatic arguments over tiny things. She can always count on her brother to have her back, while she covers Alice’s. Her and Alice have a very open relationship and enjoy their weekly chat, which had to happening in the library after her sister wasn’t sorted into her house, much to the distain of Madam Pince.

She, Lorcan and Lucy are close friends after she gets paired with the terrible twosome for a Potions project. While she and Lorcan have much in common, she and Lucy have little yet she is very fond of the Slytherin. She and Lucy become very good friends and spend large amounts of time together even if the badger side of the Scamander twins is not present. After Lorcan and Lucy start to date, after much pushing and shoving from Grace, she starts to feel a little left out so starts to seek refuge in her older brother. While he says he wants nothing to do with her, Fred II and Dominique welcome her with open arms and she quickly becomes close with the two. After many heated arguments over opinions she realises that she and Fred are the most compatible two people and she soon parts ways from the group.

After Lucy and Lorcan die down their love, Grace starts to hang around them again however after failing most of her tests at the end of third year she starts to hang around with the other half of the Scamander twins for tutoring. She and Lysander become very close and after a few surprise kisses in the library they start dating. Lorcan becomes slightly jealous that his brother stole his best friend so he and Grace get into a huge argument in the Hufflepuff common room which ends in tears and both wish they could take away things they said to each other.

After deciding that she doesn’t want to come in between them fighting Lucy gets into an argument with them both leaving Lorcan with a broken heart and Grace with no friends. Grace is able to fix it with Lorcan and after weeks of persuasion she and Lucy become friends again. She decides that her relationship with Lysander ruined her friendship with both Lucy and Lorcan she hesitantly breaks up with him. They still remain close and Lysander continues to assist Grace with her studies and she gains Exceeds Expectations in all her subjects except Herbology where she got an O.

After finishing school she takes two years out to travel the world with Dominique. Starting in Paris and ending in New York, two years later, she stops and settles down while Dominique returns home. Finding a job in a muggle department store she finds herself interested in fashion and earns a high standing job at ‘Vogue’. During her third year in New York she receives a surprising letter, delivered by an even more shocking person. Fred tells her that Dominique and Frank have gotten engaged and are to be married in six weeks. She and Fred take the first flight home and celebrate together at the wedding. She shockingly finds herself attracted to Fred II and the two share many romantic moments before she returns to New York alone.

After three months of returning Fred arrives on her door step with a surprising request. Two weeks later Grace transfers to London and lives with Fred in his uncle’s old apartment above his fathers joke shop. They take a long time before tying the knot, too long, but they move into their own house in Kent, where she runs her own boutique and he runs the new ‘Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes’ in the area. They have four children when Grace realises that that may have been four too many.

Alice Augusta Longbottom || Gryffindor || Prefect || 22nd March

She was sorted into Gryffindor like her father and would have become quick friends with Rose Weasley and Albus Potter. She is shy in most classes, especially in Herbology because she wants to show to her father that she is well behaved and smart. In third year she becomes more confident and raises her hand a little more, though in Divination she and Albus like to joke about, both of them thinking that it is a waste of a subject.

Being the youngest in her family, means that her older siblings, mostly Grace, are very protective of her- making sure that she arrives to lessons on time and making sure no one lays a finger on her. She and Grace get along very well and they both tell each other everything and when Grace leaves Hogwarts after her sixth year she does feel slightly lonely. She and Grace write letters to each other almost every other day but when Grace moves to New York they can’t keep in as close contact which Alice really does struggle with. Frank and Alice struggle a little, Frank teases Alice quite a lot at home and while she finds him to be extremely annoying but when it all comes down to it, Alice does love her brother a lot.

She, at first, is know mostly because she is Professor Longbottom’s daughter but as she gets older she is more known for being Alice. She greatly admires her dad and really looks up to him. Her and Hannah also share a tight bond and Alice is know to spend large amounts of time at the bar of the Leaky Cauldron during the summer. During the break from her fifth year into her sixth she works as a waitress to help her mother out.

Her and Rose get along quite well but they have a little bit of conflict over Scorpius Malfoy, first because Rose doesn’t like him and Alice tries to persuade her otherwise. And secondly because Rose thinks that Scorpius likes Alice in their fourth year but it turns out he was just trying to help Albus out, who likes Alice.

She becomes well known around the school after she gets invited to one of the big parties by James. She starts to hang around with different people but remains close with Albus and Rose. During her fifth year, however, Rose and her get into a huge argument after Rose accuses her of being two faced and bitchy so they spend a long time not talking to each other. Albus is there to comfort Alice after the argument and tells her that Rose is just being silly and jealous. Rose soon comes to her senses after a long talk with both Scorpius and Albus, apologies and they are back on track.

She and Albus remain good friends, with Albus liking Alice and Alice not really understanding her feelings towards him, until James asks Alice out. Alice, at first, admits that she doesn’t feel about him in that way but after much persuasion, and a few presents, they go on a date together. Albus finds out and confronts James and Alice hears the whole thing. Realising that his brother really likes her James lays off and tells Alice about Albus’ true feelings. They start dating but take it slow as they are both still unsure. After six months of awkwardness, in the middle of seventh year, they break up but remain good friends.

After finishing school, Alice and Rose go off to a muggle university together and live in a small apartment together. Her and Rose become closer and they are both there for each other, especially after Rose and Scorpius stop dating. They spend three years together until Rose falls in love with muggle man from university, who teaches an ‘unexplained phenomenon’s’ class. They move in together and Alice moves off to the Ministry to do a training course. There she and Albus start to become close because he is on the same course as her. They start dating again and after seven weeks he proposes to her.

They have a quiet ceremony with just close family and friends. She then works in the Ministry, in the Department of ‘unclassified and potentially dangerous plants and animals (I made that up if you hadn’t guessed)’. They have a small house on the outskirts of London and after the birth of their second child Alice decides that two is enough. When Albus starts to work at Hogwarts and is away from the house more often, they move to Godric’s Hollow so that Ginny could help Alice with the children more around the house.
