I always wondered why Next Shark never did anything about it, but I realized today that they encourage it. They love it. It brings more views and attention to them.

I had to block nextshark on instagram... these mfs in the comments were a little too condescending towards a blasian tiktoker pointing out something to do with an app lightening her brown skin to the same tone as her japanese mother and they were soo.. like? "Then why even use it 🙄 you must be new around here... you can turn the filter OFF😒! Why are you even complaining just dont get the purikura then" and i was like whew chile i thought you were in this shit for ALL asians and shes half japanese but her being japanese apparantly doesnt win from internalized anti-blackness. I dont need that tbh.. to be asking attention for anti asian violence and solodarity in one post only to turn around and be part of a different problem in the next.

Im mostly disappointed that the reactions were so like... aggressive.. they wanted NO part of what she was saying and she was actually funny about it. One hoe was like "shes only posting it on the internet to get attention" like bitch... thats the whole internet 😑 but THIS one blasian girl living in japan is the problem? Right.
