Ghost and bound for the OC asks 👀👀
ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?
Neyrha Neyrha is also an oc that originally started as a dragon age oc, and then i liked her so much i kept plopping her into different universes (most recently bg3 lol)
Neyrha’s story as a character always revolves around being taken away from a comfortable environment growing up, and being thrust into expectations that are unrealistic for her to achieve or adhere to as she is. She grows up isolated and alone and under a huge amount of pressure, and it festers who she is, it makes her selfish and arrogant, manipulative to everyone around her, always striving for power, and always wanting more of it. And because of that, the lack of her closest family, namely her twin brother Cedahn, haunts her without her even knowing its going on. There’s an empty space next to her that has been there since she was little, and no matter how hard she tries, she can not remember who or what used to be there. She doesn’t remember him, but her unconscious mind does, and it haunts her in her every waking moment.
Depending on where i wanna go with her in whatever universe i drop her down in, she either continues going down this road of constantly Missing someone she doesnt remember, leading her into a tragic and lonely existence, where she may or may not rise in power (and the achievement of that simply feels hollow) OR she, through some means, finds her lost twin, and they reconnect and it breathes fresh air into her. It takes a LONG time for her to unlearn habits and behavior, and nourish new and healthy habits in their stead, but she is on steadier feet in that path of her story.
bound: Has your OC ever been imprisoned or captured? What happened? How did they get out? Did the experience leave any scars?
Dahriel Dahriel is my darling Tiefling fighter that I finished my first bg3 playthrough with! He’s a criminal by trade, so he’s had his fair share of run-ins with the Law, and those are rarely ever pleasant for him. His bouts of imprisonment were usually not longer than a couple days at most, and the Flaming Fists more than once tried to get information out of him through any means necessary. Most of the physical scars have faded over time, Dahriel having grown better at avoiding being caught in the first place as he’d gotten older and more experienced in his field, but there’s still some scars from lashes left by various whips or other Tools of the Trade on his back. I also think I played around with the idea of him having a tattoo around his ankle to hide a gnarly scar from a restraint, but i dont remember if I kept that “official” yet (or if i even had made a final decision on that yet lol)
she heard you talk shit about her (start running)
look at her. now give her all your money.
I love. Woman.
