Potential Fanfic Idea!
So I’ve been getting obsessed with a certain character hear lately... Said character is this fricker right here:
I was thinking.... I wanna put this boy through a VERY tough struggle... Something that’d maybe bring him to his knees.... But, he’d eventually overcome it and become better for it? Been thinking about what kind of conflict for him to go through though... I’m thinking of making him a rival character known as “Who” totally not bc I want to call this fic Thorton hears a Who jkjkjkjkjk that’s totally why x’DDD ....I COULD go for your normal “jock wants to nuke nerd, but nerd outbrains the jock” kind of conflict buuuuuuut, I’m thinking of a “fellow nerd wants to out-nerd other nerd” conflict instead. I’m thinking Who could be very intellectual in knowing how Pokemon battles work as well, but instead of being the “I build many contraptions” kind of nerd Thorton is, that Who would be the “I like psychology and playing mind games” kinda nerd. So the rivalry between Thorton and Who would simply start out by Who besting him multiple times at the battle factory, which we all know would definitely be a struggle for Thorton. But I wanna take it up a notch and make him REALLY struggle. I’ve discussed my idea with a friend of mine @theblindhakune and she said maybe Who could want to take his place as Factory Head? ...Maybe for the fame of it all. So maybe Who could ultimately try to take over Thorton’s life as Factory Head and be a better replacement could be his ultimate goal overall. He’ll try to do this with mind games and his vast Pokemon knowledge that rivals even Thorton’s. But... Thorton has an ally that’s been witnessing these events, and has made it his life’s mission to help the boy. Said ally is a Pachirisu who’s been watching this slowly unfold... And is also Thorton’s future Pokemon partner. Thoughts on this you guys?
