at 15 Brendon had a “relationship” with an older girl (17/18 [not exactly an adult, but old enough to know better]) and she ended up pregnant. Lyla was determined to keep the baby (more out of stubbornness than anything) so naturally Brendon supported her throughout the pregnancy. however, a few weeks after Giovanni was born, she simply disappeared, leaving the baby behind
despite still being a kid himself, Brendon stepped up. fortunately, the Park family was well-off enough to give both of them all the support they needed while Brendon finished school and eventually became a surgeon. and even with barely any free time, he always found a way to be there for his son, feeling guilty every time he had to leave him with babysitters. even though he was emotionally distant in some ways he never let Giovanni go without anything, always making sure his son had the best of everything
Lyla never came back and Brendon obviously resented her for it. that resentment extended to her family too, since none of them had ever done anything for Giovanni. but he never stopped them from having contact with the boy, especially his aunt, Reader. Brendon's biggest fear was that they would try to take Giovanni away from him or use him to get money but that never happened (mostly thanks to Reader but not that Brendon knew that)
Reader was only 10/12 when her sister got pregnant and as much as she wanted to do something, her family simply couldn't afford to raise another child, so she spent years barely having any contact with her nephew. once she was old enough, she started visiting Giovanni but never felt comfortable around Brendon's parents, who seemed to blame her for her sister's choices. Reader didn't hold that against them and also didn't blame Brendon for clearly not wanting her around, but she wished they could at least have a better relationship for Giovanni's sake. she had vowed that no matter what happened, she would never stop being part of the kid's life
despite also resenting her sister's choices, Reader still loved Lyla and kept in touch with her from time to time. she never really understood how her sister could simply walk away from her own son but she also knew that she couldn't force her to be the mother Giovanni deserved
over time, keeping in touch with Giovanni became even harder bc on top of Reader having a life of her own, Brendon also moved to Pittsburgh with him, but she still called the boy whenever she could, watching him grow up from a distance and always trying to make sure he knew that he had family on his mother's side too (even if Brendon clearly preferred to keep that side of his life at arm's length)
then, a few years after becoming a nurse, Reader gets an offer to work at the PTMC and she accepts, hoping this might finally be her chance to be a bigger part of Giovanni's life, except now she has to deal with both Park the Shark, the doctor who seems adamant on giving her a hard time at work, and Brendon Park, her nephew's father who seems to hate the very sight of her (well, not a good thing that she looks so much like her big sister)
but maybe in the meantime she also gets to know Brendon the man who had to grow up far too young, who has spent his entire adult life being a father first and a person second, and who desperately seems to need a reminder that he's also still human after all

Brendon should've known better than staying friends with his ex. sure, they had been high school sweethearts and each other's first everything, but the break up had been mutual and there were no hard feelings between them, so there was really no reason for him to stay away, right?
and it's not like they were as close as before. yes, they texted periodically and had lunch every now and then, but it didn't mean anything more than two old friends catching up. he didn't have time for anything else other than that, being a great surgeon and all
it didn't bother him when Alissa said she was dating again. no, really, he was surprisingly okay with that, more than he thought he would be actually given how possessive he used to feel during their years-long relationship. it also didn't bother him to meet the guy. Josh was great and seemed to make her really happy, so of course it wasn't a problem. no, the real problem came when Alissa said they were getting married. not the news itself, but what she said after
'we were thinking and… would you be one of Josh's groomsman?' and worse than that was his answer. 'yes, it would be my honor'
now, the real real problem wasn't his ex marrying someone that wasn't him. it wasn't having to stand there and watch it from the front row, no. that would be easy. what really bothered him was having to face Alissa's family after all those years, and for a whole weekend
and worse than that was being paired with the one bridesmaid that hated him from the start: Alissa's little sister.
or where Reader always had a crush on Brendon, but because he was her older sister’s boyfriend, she hid it the best way she could: by pretending to hate his fucking guts. the last time she'd seen him she was still a teenager and keeping up the charade, but now she has to face him as an adult so of course those childish feelings were gone... right?

In this AU persona A would obviously be the doll and person B would be the doll’s creator.
Just like in the song the inventor gets eventually killed but the doll blocks out that memory from the trauma and instead remains in the now abandoned workshop, still dancing and singing, waiting for the inventor to return.
One faithful day however a group of “little people”/small fae like creatures stumble across the ruins of the workshop and find the doll. The doll tells them that they are waiting here for the return of their creator. The group of little people, completely unaware of what truly had happened all those years ago, encourage the doll to leave the workshop and go search for the inventor.
And something something on this journey the doll is confronted with the painful memories they had been repressing for decades and finally learn how to grief and mourn.

Reader comes from a family of great ballerinas: her mother, her grandmother, and her great-grandmother were all prima ballerinas, and she was destined to become one too, or at least thats what everyone said since the moment she was born. it was the only thing she had, her only dream. she had starved herself, trained day and night and missed everything for it.
but then, at the most important moment of her life, she fell, and with her went her fate
Brendon Park was a skilled enough doctor to set her bones in place and allow her to walk again, but she could never dance again. so now she was nothing, she had nothing else to life for. maybe Brendon could fix more than bones and help her find a new purpose in life, she just have to let him try
little note: i thought of this with park (bc hes always in my mind these days) but it would work go just as well with abbot, robby or anyone else really, maybe a few weeks after her surgery she attempts to kirk herself and ends up in the ER so jack/robby/dennis/santos/etc tries to help her get better? idk

Y'know I've noticed the octonauts fandom has 0 fanfics about Tweak going into rabbit shock(Google it, also if it isn't obvious yes I like angst about my fav characters) and I personally think Ring of Fire is a perfect spot to put it in the aftermath of. She would be stressed as fuck after that mess.
Anyway I don't have any scenes besides a vague idea of when Tweak enters it.
Then later Barnacles calling Marsh to tell him(I don't know where in the timeline Ring of Fire falls and I haven't watched any octonauts in a while so idk if Barnacles knows Marsh at this point) and Marsh panics because wouldn't it just be so fun and interesting and angsty if Tweak's mom died from shock? : )

an old FBI series is being rebooted and Reader takes on the lead role, shes a rising movie star but mostly played the hyper-sexualized love interest or the mean girl so this is her first "serious" role
the original series was cancelled because a serial killer obsessed with the show began killing women who looked like the lead actress exactly as depicted on screen, but since years had passed and the killer appeared to have vanished after the show was cancelled the producers thought it would be a good idea to try again given the series' initial success.
the rebooted series is a hit but the serial killer also returns, so the BAU is assigned the case
