I finished the TF Bayverse films. There was a lot to hate about them, but I managed to enjoy myself.
I’m almost appalled that I had a good time at all. LOL

How the fandom likes to describe Cybertronians:
robot frens <3, tired space dads/moms, sad space robots, vroom vrooms
How I like to describe Cybertronians:
apex predators, living war machines, space guardians, walking weapon arsenals
At the end of the day, they are both. ♡
I step back from the fandom for almost two months—and JRO joins tumblr; Elon Musk expresses an interest in buying Hasbro; Hasbro announces they’re no longer going to fund films for any of their IPs; and South Korean protestors fly flags with Decepticon and Autobot insignias in response to the Clampdown their president enacting martial law.
What a time to be a Transformers fan.
Why did I wait so long to watch the Bay films?! I just finished the first one, and while it definitely has its issues, it was actually still really cool???
Also, Mikaela is so 🔥🔥🔥. I was not expecting to like her, but she was my favorite human character in this. Maggie was great too. Michael Bay is Michael Bay, but both of these women basically carried the human side of this movie for me. Sam wasn’t much—until the very end.
Is it too soon to admit I have a, um…a fascination with Cybertronian spines and life cords?
I forgot I scheduled that Brainstorm day post lol
Anyway, hello everyone. I’m still alive.
I’m working full-time now, so I have even less time to spend online than before. Not sure when I’ll be back on tumblr with any consistency, but I figured I’d at least let you all know I’m still kicking and trying to make time for my writing and other fandom projects.
Me @ the people calling TF One Cybertron “techno-organic” in the notes of that post:
I’m not trying to be pedantic since, by definition, they’re technically correct.
However, “techno-organic” doesn’t quite fit what I’m thinking of when I look at the planet.
It’s a subjective preference thing—not an “I’m objectively right” thing.
