send me △ for my muse to get trapped in a small closet with yours
Of course, this was happening. Quinn had only wanted to lookfor a book she had misplaced. She had moved into the loft in a rush and evennow, she was still realizing that things she should have were tucked awaysomewhere they should not be. Finn had insisted on helping. The crashing ofboxes and the shriek that came from Quinn was enough to make Finn come over. The closet she was looking in was already small enough but with the addition ofthe tall man insisting on helping, it was kind of cramped. Even more so whenshe heard the door close behind them, she could swear the walls started closingin on them when she hear Finn mutter a curse word under his breath.
“I can’t get the dooropen.”
Of course, he couldn’t. She tried for herself and found itwas true. They were trapped in the closet. Great… Quinn groaned and wanted togo into Finn about how she was doing fine looking by herself. That if it wasn’tfor him, they wouldn’t be trapped. But she’d already been bitchy enough to himrecently. For a reason she wasn’t even sure was an actual reason. The weddingwas still a blur to her. “This is like a horrible game of seven minutes inheaven,” she huffed out. Her hazel eyes eyed Finn suspiciously. They trackedhis expressions to see if anything from that night would show on his face.Either Finn had a really good poker face or nothing did happen.
“Never got that game.A closet is a really shitty heaven.”
Quinn pressed her lips into a fine line and looked at himblankly. The thought of ignoring him and banging on the door crossed her mind. “Idon’t know. The smell of moth ballshas always turned me on,” her tone was almost as dry as the air in the smallspace they shared.
Her lips twitched into a half smile. She could have swornshe heard Finn let out a small chuckle under his breath. It was something. Kindof like how they were before everything got complicated or…didn’t. Quinn stillwasn’t sure what was going on between them.
