Time
I’ve come to realize with each day that passes by, my goal becomes closer and closer. Retire by 35 is my life goal. I am currently 21, with my birthday being in December, and it already being May, this year is going too fast for me to keep up. I read a blog post the other day commemorating the top music producers under the age of 25 (so 24 and below). I would love to have my name mentioned on that list, as a 21 or 22-year-old, be at the Grammy’s each year from next year until I pass, and eventually be honored by some of the world’s top artists after my passing at the following year’s Grammy performance. Time, time management is the only way this will happen. There are 24 hours in a day, 8 of which are spent sleeping, so you’re awake for 16. If you work 8 that means you’re already down to 8 hours, not to mention an hour commute each way, now you’re down to 6. Hygiene lets say takes 1 hour so 5. Then you have to eat so down to 5. So after all of the necessities are taken care of you have 5 hours left to yourself. That 5-hour window will determine whether you remain or grow. You can spend that time watching t.v. and playing video games or perfecting your craft, it is entirely up to you. Make your 5 hours count.
