Hard to believe that I started this thing in 2012.
Hey guys, as you know from following this blog, I like to dabble in photo & graphic editing and design. I’ve slowed down a bit here because my role at work has changed and let’s be honest, the Wings are a bit of a dumpster fire.
I’ve also created a lot of hockey jersey concepts and designs over the past 5 years and I’ve begun to put them online. I want to keep this blog Wings-centric so I’ve created a new blog for them. Hoplite Uniform Designs.

So far I’ve only posted concepts from my archive, but I’m always working on new projects. Who knows, maybe one day I can turn my passion for sports design into a career.

Hey Hockey Fans,
Like most of you, I’m fairly upset about tumblr’s changes to their guidelines. Although this will only affect my personal blog, my bitterness is telling me to leave this website forever and hope that it dies a painful death.
However, I’ve spent 6+ years of daily attention building this blog and it’s following and am leaning towards sticking with it or moving it to another hosting service. Obviously nothing here is NSFW (outside of a few occasional cuss filled rants).
I don’t know how many of my 12K followers are truly active anymore and plan on sticking around, but if you have any thoughts, I’d love to hear them.
Hit me with a message or reply and let me know what your feelings are.
If it wasn't for your blog, I'd probably have left hockey Tumblr all together. You are the only Wings blog left that actually uses common sense when it comes to the team
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard this, but it always means a lot to me. During the 5 years or so of maintaining this blog I’ve thought about giving it up many times. Comments like this help to keep me going. It doesn’t hurt that I’m a huge player/fan with a creative side though ;-)
