Senior year.
So a lot of people I know in college have raved about their senior year, and a lot of people I know in my grade are really looking forward to starting it tomorrow. I am not one of them.
I don't want to be around so many fake people. I don't want to be around these people who are the same age as me but act nothing like me. I'm not above them, I just see things in very different ways and find it easier to connect with people who are a little older. I'm not looking forward to people who have barely talked to me at all this summer, or hell even before then, calling me their "best friend" and screeching "AAHHHH I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" when I can honestly say I've wanted nothing to do with them and want nothing to do with them in the future.
I love everyone I've met this summer. I just want to be with the people I love. I love my job too, my first day was beyond wonderful. I'd rather be there than my high school, but if I had some more of my real friends there it wouldn't be as upsetting to go back.
