kia ora e kare, adore your human art of Rocky, genuinely you're one of the few non-Pasifika big artists who depicts us pretty much perfectly, it's always been a pleasure to see. just a small correction on your wording on that post for future reference too: kirituhi is used pretty much exclusively in regard to moko done on non-Māori skin using our whakairo. As your Rocky is Māori, tāmoko is the more correct term to use even if the design itself includes more contemporary elements. The terms are in relation to the wearer itself
ah, thank you! I said kirituhi specifically as I am not Māori (even if my depiction of Rocky is). I was under the impression that it would always be kirituhi if a non-Māori is designing/drawing it, regardless of whether the recipient is Māori, but I apologize if that was wrong
