Spamano on gardening
Aph South Italy: carefully scours through heirloom tomato blogs, makes own compost and considers it Very. Serious. Business.™, enters local produce contests. Aph Spain: Plays electro-pop while weeding, does 75% of the actual watering, has named every plant (tho there are 3 Jorges), decorates tomato cages w chalk.
Spain v South Italy is the same as the difference between sleepy and tired. With one you risk being smothered by cuddles, the other you risk getting stabbed.
When South Italy gets a cold, he’s laid up in bed asap and trying to get well. He doesn’t fuck with his health. Spain will keep moving til he literally cannot. Or til Lovino realizes he’s sick. Whichever comes first.
Night before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house…
Things were fucking cray, as Lovino vacuumed like a madman before his family came over the next day and the cat had shed all over the furniture while they were out.
Antonio fretted over text to Francis and Gilbert about Lovino ’ s gifts (so many gifts) for the millionth time.
They’d nearly run a lady down at the grocery store this afternoon because Lovino had backed up into the bag of flour (while making out with Toni) and knocked it on the floor, and Francis had “borrowed” all the eggs.
But they both separately, secretly, stocked up on mistletoe, so you know tomorrow is gonna be cute.
German family's own Christmas dork stayed up waaay too late wrapping presents. Again.
Came up in conversation that maybe I ought to mention I’m reasonably fluent in Spanish if people are interested.
