A reminder that there are good teachers

I've had a lot of family drama lately and when I told my professor she said that I could take the final exam up to a month after the exam date so I have time to take care of my mental health

My glorious breakfast that is halfway eaten and that I do not want to end. Once I finish breakfast I have to get back to writing this awful biology paper when I am supposed to be on break because science is hard and I needed more time. I mean, it beats the alternative. The professor was understanding and gave me two extra weeks. But working on something you loathe and that makes you feel like you lack intelligence while you're supposed to be resting is so awful. *sigh* So for now I am going to focus on how happy this breakfast makes me. Also, thanks so much to my friends who have helped with this paper. It literally wouldn't be possible without their support and help. I have cried over this paper multiple times, and also people have helped to translate sticky and highly statistical medical articles into easier to comprehend and understand terms for me so I can more easily write about them.

Today, I got my very first college midterm that the professor copy-and-pasted her lecture slides, removing the numbers and words in the sentences, and asked you to fill-in the blank. LIFE.IS.GOOD.

So we had an English paper due today and a majority of the class didn't get a lot of sleep. at the beginning of class we all handed in our papers and Soon after one student got up and started to leave and the professor was like "heading out?" And she replied "yeah i'm going to sleep". Then the professor replied "fair enough". And then a couple students got up and left
