you know how pran feeding him was telling pat 'me too, i dont want to play this game anymore' and wiping his mouth was 'sorry, ik i've been hurting you but never again' like the mouth wiping thing is a clear parallel to the wai scene its 'sorry for using this to make u jealous, sorry for letting this stupid game get so far, sorry for not being honest with you sooner' it's 'sorry' and 'i love u'

it really makes me wonder about their future thou. about the reveal. bc so far. pat's been giving and giving and giving. and now it's all catching up to pran, how much pat is willing to sacrifice for him. he's starting to get apologetic. for asking so much of him and hardly giving him anything in return. pat wasn't even expecting anything from pran when he did this, he still referred to their bet like it was smth he didn't mind was still on, when pran knew it wasn't. so pran relented. pran caved. all his fears, his hesitation, his competiveness, none of that mattered anymore nothing mattered more than pat. and i think that's how they're gonna close the reveal arc. with pran seeing the devastating effect it has on pat. and deciding that's it, enough is enough.
