Here! Here! It's my first review. (Hold tight. We have some hidden gems for you so stay tuned)

Here's the thing... never go into a cafe with high hopes of densely packed dark rye fruit toast and order raisin toast.

Fact is, it is just not going to be the same! duh. It's like going into a fish and chip shop and wanting glistening seasoned fat ones but walking out with a packet of Smith's crisps.*

The toast here as the picture shows is quite light and fluffly - almost brioche like- with scattered rasins. Maybe this how the French love it, maybe I just had a different breakfast in mind. Either way, with the cute petit jam jars and equally as tiny silver foiled butter it was ok. Just ok.

Where are my raisins?!

Rating: 2 raisins. I wouldn't crave or go out of my way to consume.

*Both equally good when you feel like it... but it's like home-made burgers and McDonalds.. there's always a time and place!
