Books and perfumes are my weakness, maybe because they both have the power to take me elsewhere, to make my mind wander, suspended in time, wherever she wants. Or maybe it’s just because I’m a bookworm with expensive tastes in perfumes! - Yet, when I first came across @officialbyredo new scent Bibliothèque (which was created by Ben Gorham after the big success of the candle) I was entranced. The fruity combination of the opening (peach and plum) was totally unexpected, the floral heart (peony and violet) engaging, and finally the leathery base that lingers on skin really takes you between old books, their leather-bound pages and dark wood shelves.
