He's confused...
...lost...
...disorientated.
And he sees someone up ahead in the dark, and he thinks he can trust them.
"Hey," He calls out to the other man, walking over to him slowly. "Can you tell me where I am? I'm really lost."
The GPS in his car turned him a completly different way, leaving him stranded out in the dark, in the middle of nowhere with an almost dead cell phone.
