Meet our teachers!
Nick Gianni teachers Guitar, Sax and woodwinds, as well as Theory and Composition in Prospect Heights.
Nick is a musician raised in New York on a steady diet of music. His grandfather played tenor sax with local big bands and made sure that Nick had learned the basics of piano, flute and saxophone at an early age before moving to guitar and bass as a teenager. Nick studied Music Theory at SUNY Stony Brook, graduation in '92. Nick has had the distinction of recording and performing with many great musicians, including: Dr John, Marshall Allen, Kenny Wollesen, Chris Parker, Hugh McCracken,Butch Morris, Juini Booth, Jojo Kuo, Daniel Carter, Jesse Harris, Lorenza Ponce, The Brazilian Girls, and Nublu Orchestra.
