Hotel to Feature Most Popular Nickelodeon Brands and Characters for an Immersive, Family-Friendly Experience!
Hotel to Feature Most Popular Nickelodeon Brands and Characters for an Immersive, Family-Friendly Experience!
remember the Nickelodeon hotel?
when i was younger my parents brought us to that hotel on a trip. the hotel was so strange that for the past 10ish years i thought i was making it up; i thought we never actually went.
but we did. this place was liminal as fuck.
i don’t remember much, i remember that it had a cool waterpark; we got locked out of either the bathroom or the kids room, and it was very dirty and crowded. when i asked my mother about it she said that the staff weren’t very nice and the character costumes were creepy. looking back on the experience it just feels like a dream. it feels like it never happened, but it did.
Adding onto this: i remember that the kids room we were in had bunk beds that were red.
So I heard that the Nick Hotel in Orlando from the mid-2000s (it’s still there, but the Nick branding is gone) offered character “wake-up calls” for guests. Not sure which characters but I’m gonna go with SpongeBob, Angelica, Jimmy Neutron, Cosmo and Wanda, etc.
...they should’ve really given the full mid-2000s Nick experience and for all wake-up calls before 7 AM (like if you had an early flight home, for example), the call should’ve been just the George Lopez Show theme.
i’m looking up old pictures from the nick hotel and i found this
this is a+ meme material
I don’t know of y’all knew this but there existed(exists?) a Nickelodeon Hotel with people dressed as the more popular characters(think Disney land/world)
Danny made the cut to get a costume and I need to share this image
leave those kids at home
Shit that went down at the Nickelodeon Hotel(100% not stolen from Defunctland): Somebody pulled a water sprinkler and flooded half of the building. A kid got rushed to the hospital because of an allergy involving slime. Someone showed up at the front desk to say somebody stole their handgun. Their was mold growing in a majority of the rooms. the pools were pretty much closed 24/7 due to a combination of child bowel movements and lightning storms. and they had no towels,Now do all that for Bendy.
that’s just your average hotel experience
