I love organ music (and this is the main reason you find me in churches, really) and earlier this week, I had the pleasure to listen to Nick Veltmeyer brilliantly play Advent-themed music at the Cathedral Church of St. James. The recital closed on this cheerful Pietro Yan air, Conditor alme siderum (Creator of the stars of the night), here played by Elisa Teglia. It was physically uplifting, and thinking about it now, just does cheer me up!
