Recently found out another Brotha in my Comedy Community transitioned unexpectedly yesterday. @Nick_Carthan was not only a friend but a classmate as well. We started doing standup around the same time back in NY about 10 years ago. We had just reconnected last week at mutual friends celebration & it felt like no time had passed . You were so happy to be going on the road to work with @funnyaida I could feel it in your voice . I admired how even in dark times you never let the BS get the best of you. Things were really starting to come all together in your life as well as career. You gave me all the best encouragement about being a Dad & balancing my new life with Comedy. Nick loved his daughter Chrissy to the moon. We both said to each other multiple times throughout the night we were gonna call each other more going forward & link. I’m really gonna miss you bro. You were one of those most uplifting comics on the circuit & in life period. We had some great times & laughs on both coasts. We repped Jamaica Queens everywhere we went. My heart is with your daughter Chrissy , your wife, & your family & Taccara.
