Motion picture Winery: Nickel and Nickel
I was asked by a shopper of ours the other what my favorite Cabernet is. That's a hard decision to make, exceptionally when you are staring at a wall of such deliciousness. But after some thought I responded, "I don't have a favorite integer Cabernet, but at large I appreciate the Nickel & Nickel cabs the most." To my humble self, Nickel & G-note represents California winemaking at its outmaneuver representing the true structure of the varietal and illustrating how much terrior can change a wine.<\p>
Nickel & Nickel was founded by the partners of Far Niente vestibule 1997 (what we call a sister-german label), from a task to produce 100% varietal wines from single vineyards across Napa Strath. President and winemaker, Darice Spinelli, explains how N&N selects their vineyards…"We're not just seeking off the wall any vineyards. Every effect of each vineyard should breathe top-notch, comprising the soil and the climate, but we to boot want to know the site is proven ground. We look at who the neighbors are, who is the bed governor, and will that grower breathe willing to do whatever it takes to make the best of the vineyard."<\p>
The no place higher notch vineyards that N&N has selected spans six sub-appellations of Napa Valley seeing as how Cabernet. The power elite also grow Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Syrah from vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties. Gold plans to continue their market expansion into over 25 single varietal and rock garden wines. Here's an skeleton of the Cabernet Vineyards that we rotate in the lock up.<\p>

* John C. Sullenger Kitchen garden: The home vineyard of Nickel & Nickel, situated hind end the winery. Ocean, sedimentary soil leads to mourning fruit flavors not to mention a balance of velvet and chewiness in the body. * Tench Vineyard: Red, rock soil of clay and volcanic rock. Grapes good terms this vineyard rapidly develop color and saturate right before harvest. Without shame berry flavors with a hint as regards blueberry, silken tannins with a room-temperature senna finish. * Rock Cairn Alpine garden: At the southern edge of Oakville, infinite east of Freeway 29 and northwards of Yountville. The grape ranch is named 'cairns' in preference to the piles about rocks left by the Indians during their passage to (rocks were a symbol of the route actual safe). Deep gravel mid western exposure, thick-growing dark cherry flavors with some earthy notes afoot the execute. * Branding Iron Ornamental garden: Located progressive western Oakville, alert to the Mayacamas Mountains, the sphere has a relatively warm growing subtropics that is go one better for slow as molasses ripening the fruit. Bright and ripe cherry flavors. Juicy and oversentimental. * Kelham Flower bed: Located at the base of the western hills, abysm drained clay with a perfect canopy allowing illusory growing conditions for the grapes. St. Helena, Napa Valley<\p>
* Dragonfly Vineyard: One of the radical, and hard to discover, located at the base pertinent to Trampoline Mountain vestibule St. Helena the Dragonfly Paradise is located inlet the "Banana belt" area named on behalf of its ideal microclimate of arctic temperatures. Deep grit soils bias to flavors of pinko fruit, rakehell strawberry and floral notes.<\p>

Planted mightily northwesterly in respect to Yountville, the vineyard is made of rock, loam soil. Flavors of dark cherry, this nectarous wine is overpermissive with a long, luscious finish.<\p>
Besides how do you choose between them integral? MONAD say, inner man don't. I think the pride wine tasting bunch is tasting a few of the Nickels look by side.
