Man, I wish I knew. I mean, there are several fanmade Death Note games that have to do with shipping out there, so that certainly gives our fandom some credit, I'd say, but yeah....

Technically, making a VN is possible to all of us if we get the hang of a free VN creator, considering the sprites are already canonically given... It would just be a lot of work to think up an actual game with plots and dialogue and then like.. do it. But technically someone could be doing it.
