I waited for 4 SEASONS for Nick to get possessive/protective over Nichole in front of Fred!!! I LIVE for that scene in the woods, but all I wanted was good protective daddy Nick who cuddles his baby and is proud of it!! All I wanted was:

Fred: Blah Blah…My ”daughter” Nichole…Blah Blah

Nick: *Pistol whooping* MY DAUGHTER, asshole!!!

And now Fred is dead. That’s literally the only thing that disappointed me about this season, the lack of protective daddy Nick when they had the opportunity.

I don’t understand the criticism that Nick is yet to do anything for June this season.That he is abusive and they are in a toxic relationship?!Like what the hell?!How?I have read some crazy stuff on social media!and it’s a head scratcher!I mean are we even watching same show!?!🤷🏾‍♀️

I love Nick very much!For me it’s not about his good looks but his character.He has this quiet demeanor,doesn’t talk much,Very observant and stoic!Its hard to read him,his expression or what he is thinking!He’s well aware of the unconventional and toxic environment of Gilead.And under pressure he is exceptionally very Cool.He isn’t hot headed usually very calm and reasonable!Highly cunning not in a bad way but in a self preservation way.He is patient,calculating and strategic in his ways.He is a good man!And that’s how he has earned a very powerful position as a COMMANDER.What I find most intriguing about him it’s the way he navigates the power plays and politics of Gilead.He plays the loyalist well!too well!That none of the men around him suspects him!he is a valuable asset to them.Meanwhile he is June’s love,lover,baby daddy and her greatest cheerleader!The rest of Gilead’s political circle have no inkling!A very tactful and careful man commanding Gilead’s military makes him the most dangerous.He has the power to destroy Gilead!(a dangerous enemy within)and a powerful ally to June’s quest of destroying Gilead!From the very moment I saw him,I was very intrigued by him.He gets angry and frustrated but hardly flinches!His self control is remarkable.He only flinches when June’s name or her bad situation is mentioned!Because of how much he loves her and wants to keep her safe.June is not just a roll in the hay!She is family!She and Nicole.The only family he has!He Will move mountains for them!Case in point ask commander Lawrence!🤦🏾‍♀️🤣!Who described him as “ the Tao of June Osborne”He knows and understands you don’t mess with Nick when it comes to June!And in Gilead’s political world Lawrence appreciates the fact that Nick can take away everything from him because he is a powerful but subtle player!And for those who think 🤔 he isn’t doing much for June!He is the reason she is still breathing not maimed or killed!The best thing that happened to June was Nick arresting her!You could tell by the subtle shock and relief on her face!And him his subtle touch not daring to give away his feelings!After the affirmation of their love on that bridge!I truly don’t care 🤷🏾‍♀️ what you think!
