before they know it, his scrabbling hands have found their sides, then their hair, then the paper on their desk; they had clearly been wiring for longer than they remember, ‘what is it, nick?’
‘i miss you,’ he mutters, pawing at his shirt, and alex laughs -- they’d been in the same room almost all day, after all -- ‘come cuddle with me,’ and, god, how could they say no to that?
