As it would turn out, the combination of time consuming college courses and a time consuming new job can make it extremely difficult to find time and motivation to do a whole lot of personal work. I only really have this tileset to show off, and it’s far easier to show off as a static image than as a video.
It’s a Haitian cemetery (which are surprisingly beautiful in real life, by the way) where the player will visit and fight voodoo zombies and Bokors.

I did manage to add a handful of features to Spellcaster this week, but it’s primarily stuff that can’t really be shown off very well in a video.
The game now has a save system, proper resolution options, and a rough title screen, among a small handful of other minor tweaks which are hardly worth mentioning. If you haven’t tried the Work in Progress build yet, I encourage you to click the link, give it a shot, and let me know what you think!

I had kind of a hectic week, so this is all I really managed to get done. They’re the band that will play on the little stage in the corner of Spellcaster’s tavern

Spellcaster Devlog
I feel like I know exactly what I’m doing on the game design front, but I am still super clueless about this whole video production thing.

I’ve finally made another video showing off some substantial changes, and it feels great. Hopefully next week will be just as productive!

kind of a whimpy update this week. The holiday shuffle consumed more of my time than I would have liked, but I should have more energy in the coming weeks to do some **real** work and hopefully iron out those darn bugs I’ve been complaining about.
