When it comes down to running a label, touring and making new music. Shlohmo has his hands full of creativity help from his closest friends, he has a creative focus to leave his mark with his brand in the music industry. WEDIDIT is the name & LA is the place.
After Shlohmo’s “Dark Red” release and touring with a live band, it’s now time to embark on a mini tour of Europe with his collective. Currently traveling through three cities such as Amsterdam, London & Paris and showing Europe what WEDIDIT is about and their sound.
Shlohmo brought a few members from the collective. D33J, Purple & Nick Melons who came with him showing the people what a good time is all about. Also opening the audience up to new music and the endless possibilities one would take away.
From entering the venue, the first thing I saw were the warping visuals. Setting the tone first up was a dj set from Nick Melons to warm up the crowd and Purple’s haunting performance who mesmerized the crowd with his breathy aired vocals. Then it was time for Shlohmo to perform a live set full of originals and remixes. The show ended with a set from D33J rounding up in the early hours of the morning, taking those old school house party vibes to the club stage for a night to remember.

For me personally, it was a great experience to meet the members containing a personal connection. The collective created new connections and relationships with people. This is how I linked up with WTP, from their broad taste in music, opinion and similarities on life.
I want to thank Shlohmo, D33J, Purple, Nick Melons, but also the other members Ryan Hemsworth, RL Grime, Groundislava and Sus Boy for being themselves as a collective and showing the world what they are capable of.
