Nicky wasn’t sure how she had gotten out of there, the building was crumbling around them and all she heard was Wanda screaming her name. Tony flying overhead and Vision pushing off large ceiling rock as she hurried across the space towards the door. Then she heard it, the loud thunderous cracking and Wanda screaming out.

Nicky didn’t feel it at first, not until Thor and Steve pushed the debris off her and the air filled her lungs, filling her broken body as it expanded. Wanda pulled her close and Nicky blinked against the dust and tears trying to see whose warm arms she lay in.

“I’m here, I’m here,” Wanda whispered and Nicky smiled, blood trickling down the corner of of her mouth before bubbling up through her lips as she coughed and gagged- her lungs filling with the iron tasting liquid quickly.

“Püppchen,” she whispered, her voice hoarse and dry from the stone and gravel in the air even though Steve shushed her Wanda silenced him. Nicky too Wanda’s hand and held it to her bleeding and broken chest, her heart slowly in its ivory cage. “The stars can only be seen- in the darkest night,” she said smiling loving at the woman that gave her the world back, “You’re my sunlight. I- I love you.”

Love:

Nicky loves very deeply and with her entire being. She doesn’t go halfway. If she cared about you she makes sure you know it. She’ll cook for you, she’ll take care of you when you’re sick, she’ll beat up the dill week who broke your heart- she’ll go above and beyond to prove to you that she’s got your back and that’s for platonic or romantic love.

Laugh:

She enjoys making people laugh more than she enjoys laughing. Mostly because her laughter is uncomfortable and unsure- since it’s usually directed at something she did. She doesn’t mind people so much laughing at her when she says something ridiculous or makes a fool of herself but she finds it hard to laugh at herself for the same reasons.

Accent:

She’s got mixed feelings about accents. Sometimes they remind her of her time in HYDRA and make her really uncomfortable or times they remind her of funny movies where the accents are over dramatized and she can laugh like over dramatic Italian accents in Mario. She adores the German and Ukrainian accents, however, because they remind her of home and although German is something that can either rattle her cage or calm her down- it usually brings memories of her father and that soothes her.

Nicky:

Nicky will refuse to talk about her past from before the age of eighteen. She’s fine talking about her time as a criminal and hacker but anything about her parents or family before eighteen is a big NO-NO

Gina:

GIna won’t talk about Zachariah. It’s still too painful for her and even little Bella knows better than to ask about her father. 

Jessiah:

Jessiah won’t talk about her mother’s side of the family. Her mother’s mother ( Jessiah’s maternal grandmother ) detests Rene and Jessiah and refuses their existence. Says Jessiah ruined Jenna’s modeling career and a chance at a glorious life so Jessiah refuses to acknowledge her mother’s side of the family aside from her maternal grandfather who loves her and Rene unconditionally

Elodie:

Elodie refuses to talk about a great many things but mostly herself. She will almost always try to steer the conversation to something else even if the question is something simple like “What music do you like” she will always give vague answers like “Anything really” or just shrug the question off. She’s scared of someone finding out who she is so she tries to be no one.

Madge:

Madge refuses to talk about Dumbledore and Fred Weasley dying. Or Remus and Tonks dying. Or Doby. Or Hedwig. Or the entire last book of Harry Potter. She just refuses and lives in a fantasy land where they all live happily ever after.

Also Voldemort was a douche.

Elliot:

Elliot won’t really talk about the car accident that killed her mother and resulted in her paraplegia. She’s working through it and goes to a group every week but has yet to actually open up about the accident or share her thoughts on her condition.
