I mean there are some autistic people that can't be touched because the feelings are so unpleasant or people with sensory disorders where they physically can't have any touch what so ever and I mean you don't need to understand why people don't like it some people just don't feel or have the need for other human touch like everyone's different it's like asking asexual people why they don't like to have sex //they just don't//

It seems like you’re frustrated and you might have had a lot of people ask you these sorts of questions before, and I’m sorry if my question hurt you.

The thing is, I am a writer. And I want to portray all sorts of people and forms of affection and interpretations of those forms of affection as possible. I noticed that there was a gap in my understanding of a fairly common scenario, and I wanted to fix that so that I could portray touch-repulsed people properly and respect them.

As a writer — particularly as a writer that enjoys writing from the perspective of the characters I’m writing (IE: first person), I NEED to fully comprehend what I’m talking about before I can write it.

Just like I NEEDED to be able to understand asexuality before I was comfortable writing asexual characters. And the way I understand it is by gathering testimonials and seeing people talk about their experiences, and that is exactly what I’m trying to do.

Maybe it IS really simple, but don’t forget that the greatest mathematical discovery that changed our entire concept of EVERYTHING was finding the concept of Zero. Sometimes it takes a long time for someone to fully understand a simple concept, and that’s what I’m trying to do now. 

Thank you for bringing up sensory overload and it’s connection to autism — that’s something I had heard before but didn’t fully make the connection until you brought it up. Again, I’m sorry if my attempt to understand hurt you in some way.

Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho (The Way He Looks)

so ive been wanting to watch hoje eu quero voltar sozinho (the way he looks) for a while now and its out in brazil but i (unfortunately) dont speak portuguese and had to find downloads for the movie and english subtitles and i finally did so i thought id share 

the movie

the subs

to download the movie you'll need a torrent program/app thing (i use bittorrent but i assume any other will work)

in order to play the subs with the movie, you need this

in order to extract the sub file, you need this (which you can download not buy, i have a 30 day free trial that still works after a year and a half)

none of these programs were viruses nor did they fuck up my computer (except read some stuff when they download in order to check 'no' for all those toolbars and shit) but just because they worked for me doesnt mean they'll work for you and i sincerely apologize if they dont work

to add the sub track to the movie, open the movie in vlc media player and click 'subtitle' (in the top left corner) and 'add subtitle file' and open the subs that you just downloaded and it should work and line up with the movie 

again, i cannot guaruntee that this will work for you, but it worked for me so i thought id see if it could help you guys (and im sorry its complicated and i understand the frustration that this is probably more trouble than its worth cause this whole collection of programs took me about a year and a fuckton of trial and error to figure out so i hope it works for you guys, i really do, again, im sorry for the complicatedness, it sucks, i know)
