Collin had finally decided to think of something to do around Camp Jupiter. He was still working on his service but other than that, he was just... Cole. The male was currently in New Rome looking at the bulletin board near the town hall for job openings. A simple bartending, waitering, or library watch person would suffice for him. When he saw a similar job offering, he took out his notebook and scribbled notes regarding the job and where it was located. Even if Cole lived here for the longest time, New Rome still made him feel lost - he was never really good at navigating cities. When he moved, he immediately collided with someone else, dropping his notebook. “I’m very sorry. Really truly sorry about that. I hope you forgive me.” Was his immediate response towards the situation. Instead of going for his notebook, he tried to dust off his body dust away from the person he collided with and when he had looked at the face of the other, it was none other than Nico di Angelo.

contrary to popular belief, drew hasn’t always been the type of person who’s been able to command the attention of the entire room, but since finding her identity as the daughter of aphrodite and then later as the head of aphrodite’s cabin, she’s become adept at stealing the spotlight, easing her way into conversation and social interactions, and establishing herself as the it girl within the first fifteen seconds of being on the floor.

what makes it different and, frankly, difficult for her with becoming a hunter, and now, with the recall, is the reputation that she already holds. being the daughter of aphrodite was something that she had clinged onto for so long, and it saved her from what she viewed as the sad and pathetic life more on that later she had before arriving to camp half-blood. but with the hunters, they had at first viewed it as a sure sign of eventual failure as an eternal virgin, even with artemis’ blessing. breaking that boundary had been an obstacle for her.

the recall is a similar experience, but in a different light. here are all these people who used to know drew for being a mean, pretty, head bitch, and here are all these people who never took her seriously, people she has hurt in the past, people who ultimately judge her. she has to face these people for the first time in two years, and it’s—definitely something.

so, yes, she can normally handle changes pretty easily, but this one ism’t what she would consider a normal experience.
