when im in need of still, i hold on till night and run a hot bath. i love to soak beneath the frozen surface, limbs weightless and the world hushed.

i light a single candle, that flickers beside me and casts gold upon my walls, whilst tje window stands ajar; enough for the cold air to sneak in and kiss me.

tonight, someond said to me "youre from another world".. laying here rn, beneath ghe warmth and the chill, the silence and the glow, i almost believe them :)
