Day vs. Night Chart
In order to find out if your birth chart is a day or night chart, you have to take a closer look at it.
Day Chart: Your Sun sign is above the Ascendant axis (hence you were born when the sun was above the horizon.
Night Chart: Your Sun sign is below the Ascendant axis (hence you were born after the sunset)
But what does that mean? The Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Moon, Venus and Mars play an important role in these two types of charts. Certain planets will benefit one chart type more than the other and some planets can cause “trouble” for a certain chart type.
Sun, Jupiter and Saturn rule the day charts, meaning they have a positive effect on people born with their sun sign above the horizon. Moon, Venus and Mars rule the night charts, meaning people having night charts will benefit in these areas.
