Ok, so, hear me out. Dream wins the gay lil war, and nightmare shapeshifts into a cat to attempt to slip away like the pussy he is, BUT Dream catches him and puts him in a random lil au with too much positivity for him to have much power - so he can’t shapeshift back into his normal form. This random au HAPPENS to be farmtale. So nightmare does his gay shit, he runs around farmtale all nonchalant, and ends up staying around Farms,,,, farm. Nightmare starts going around torturing small animals like mice for meals, and Farm considers him his ranch cat or whatever (and since Farm wasn’t exactly involved with the war at all he didn’t rlly recognize it was Nightmare). Farm starts to get cuddly n all w/ Kittymare, nd then he gets TOO cuddly
