Luna would get a surprise at her home! Sticking out of a pink gift bag would be a letter addressed to her. It read as follows;

"Happy Valentines Day, Luna! I made you a gift; I hope you like it! -Nightingale"

Inside the bag would be a crochet shawl with a Luna Moth wing motif. Luna would be able to wear it around her back and over her shoulders, holding the two ends in front of her.

This was a surprise indeed!

Luna was in her room as she took the shawl out of the bag and held it out in front of her to get a better look at the design. She had no idea Gale had a talent for crocheting--the handiwork and attention to detail was so nice!

Luna removed her pauldrons and kept her wings folded so she could wrap the shawl around her shoulders and back, walking to the mirror on her wall to see how it looked on her.

Gale seemed to often get herself into more trouble than it was worth, and had an astonishing lack of self-preservation (a trait that drove Luna up a wall), but...she was also very kind, something Luna appreciated in her friends. Maybe it was because of her designation as the eldest sibling of her line, but she almost felt like a big sister to Gale in some ways.

Luna looked backward over her shoulder at her reflection and smiled. She'd have to thank Gale in person later.
