NATIONAL AVIARY NIGHT AT THE TROPICS - RIO (Part 1)
The National Aviary’s signature fundraiser, Night in the Tropics, took place on July 13th, 2019 with a vibrant new theme: Rio. This energetic party featured the following:
Along with beverages: Delicious light bites from more than 30 of Pittsburgh’s favorite restaurants.
Live music performances by the Pittsburgh Samba Group and Timbeleza, Pittsburgh's high energy Batucada band
Dancing with Brazilian music under the stars with Kenia, Vera Hite, and lively Latin beats with DJ 007
And, of course, exclusive and up-close encounters with beautiful birds and access to immersive tropical habitats at night.
All proceeds from Night in the Tropics supported the National Aviary. This photo essay is part of a self-assignment for Pittverse Magazine.
