"There's this new restaurant that opened in town I've been meaning to take her to for some time now. I've heard good reviews, and it seems take their critiques seriously. I also have tickets to fly us out to a private resort for the weekend."

heidi, its been over a perigree since juicio's passing, right? how much would you say your life's changed (or improved) since then?

“I reckon it’s been longer than that. Maybe even a sweep now.”

“He disappeared for quite some time, and then cropped up comatose in a hospital, and then… Well, you know.”

“It’s changed a considerable amount, but not because of him. I’d even call myself happier now, but that’s because of people like Chrona, or Himmel who can’t leave people alone for the life of them.”

Can they cry on command? If so, what do they think about to make it happen?

Nope! He can't make it happen and even then he'd sooner die than let himself cry. Things have to be Really Fucking Bad for him to break into tears. See: Marcel turning himself in, Heidi taking a knife to the chest for him, and Caurin Dying In His Arms.

What kinds of people do they have arguments with in their head?

The most he argues about in his head is certain ways food is prepared and served with at restaurants in a very 'I wouldn't do that, it would go better with X' sort of way. But he can't just TELL the establishment that now, can he!

When do they feel the most guilt? How do they respond to it?

He feels it most when his kids are hurt, yknow, feeling like he's failed as a father to protect his kids and being unable from stopping something from happening. He feels guilty when he's anything less than perfect for them, which has been far too often these days. He responds to it with drinking and maybe not seeing them during that time, in fear they'll think he's as pathetic as he feels. He doesn't respond well, basically.

If they’re scared, who do they want comfort from? Does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

He wants comfort from Alkiss first and foremost, in almost any kind of fear of his I can think of. There's Marcel too, of course, but yknow things are different with people you feel pale for. Though he doesn't know if Anneke can handle seeing him a fearful wreck, and may even avoid going to her specifically when he's scared.
