Estelle was out of breath, clenching her chest as she weaved through the sky. She had to land. She had to ground herself and look at the situation without fretting. Had to calm down. Had to erase this terrible thing she ran in to.
And for a single moment, she closed her eyes in hopes it would ease the process.
Sparks and bright ember lights rose about her rise, causing her to gasp out loud. And in a matter of seconds, she was crying. Her knees drew closer to her chest, and she curled up to herself in the air. The woman was weeping, almost yelling into the breeze.

The anger and frustration had built up through her racing heart as it pounded against her chest. Yet, there was another pain that lingered on the inside. One ignored. One not sought out.
One that would only grow as she damned herself for not being able to save them.
