A little disclaimer; I'm not a huge video and picture taker. I like to just live in the moment and enjoy stuff. So, I don't have a lot of videos and I didn't spend a lot of time taking pictures lol. With that being said night one was amazing y'all. Walking up to my seat was just the best feeling ever. Me and my friend looked at each other and just squealed like the little fan girls we are. Once I reached my seat I just just sat there, looking up, for a few minutes. I just needed a moment to take it all in and process it. Anne-marie came on first and was amazing. Then snow patrol, who I actually only really know one of their songs, chasing cars. Once snow patrol was done it was time to get ready for ed. His team actually built him a little stage. It was so cool to watch but it made him higher up and seem farther away. Then came the man of the hour and let me just say that, watching the live feed of him walking to the stage will get the heart pumping. I don't remember the exact set list so I'm just gonna kind of hit the highlights. I do know he has changed it up quite a bit, so it was nice not knowing what song was coming next. Let me start of with, I swear I think ed may have had a celebratory shot or two before the show. I don't think I've ever seen him talk so freaking much, or try to lol. He kinda stumbled over words, and I don't mean he stuttered, I mean he couldn't finish one word before trying to start the next. At one point he was telling a story, scratched his nose, and then forgot what he was saying. He then remembered but was like "this story has nothing to do with what I'm gonna say next, or the song". He also tripped and about fell over one of the lights toward the front of the stage which, mind you, is there every night haha. It was hilarious. Tenerife sea was beautiful and the crowd was actually really good and quiet, which I was surprised but thankful for. Pretty much everything else was what I expected apart from ed being to talkative and possibly a little tipsy lol. The crowd was loud which made for a happy ed. He came out during the encore with a bluejays jersey on, because they are the baseball team that plays at that stadium. After the show ended me and my friend ran up to the barrier and trev handed her a guitar pick. She gave me the pick because she got one last year at one of the Toronto shows. I love it and will cherish it forever. After that we fought the crowd and headed for the bus station. Both of us so ready for night two. Which we assumed would be just as great but little did we know what it had in store for us.... I'm gonna post night two a little later today so watch for that lol.
