first day of high school, we are 11, i get put into our regi class and i know no one. i see all my old friends walking to different places. then i see you, someone i sorta know coming to stand in the group. so i kinda remember we made eye contact, and walked to stand next to each other. by the end of that day i was just kinda like, yes you are my friend now. and now we are here in our 5th year lmaooo.

Hello, world. My name is Emory and this is the first post for my blog. I tend to have spontaneous thoughts like making art for a blog at the dead of night so I figured, why not make it a journal of sorts? Something I can just post to in the wee hours of the evening (at least from my timezone. I'm sure it's morning for some of you. good morning :3) But yeah, I know, word vomit, but I figure it's as great a time as any to get the (most likely) longest entry out of the way. I'm gonna try to post at least once a day even if it's just a small update. There's my new year's resolution for you, I guess.

Here's my journal portion, anyhow, enough blabbering.

The past few days, I've been bombarded by my depression. It had been really good goings for a while and I hadn't had to worry about the dark cloud that darkens my mind like spilling ink on a white page, but here it is again. it's come back in full force and I for once don't welcome it. I was finally at a good spot in my life where I didn't want to stop existing, but now I've gone back to losing all my motivation and want to do anything and I hate it.

Today was so bad that for the first time in my life I nearly broke down in tears all day and I wanted to just curl up into a ball and sob, a stark contrast to the usual numbing pain I deal with and I don't know what that means, really.

I was happy, so darn happy, things were finally going right. I don't understand why my depression has come back. Maybe it's a crash from the serotonin high I've been experiencing?

anyhow, there's my small journaling. been listening to the Magnus Protocol Podcast, highly recommend. Happy New Year's eve everyone, stay safe out there and thank you for being here. <3
