Andie Star was born in 1988 and is the second child to Myka and Samuel Star, the first being Maddox Star three years earlier. She was a fairly kind hearted child whose curious nature seemed to always find her in some form of innocent trouble. Her brother would often call her ‘Nancy Drew’ to tease her. Growing up both her brother and her learned the ways of magic as they were witches and were heavily involved in the supernatural community as it was general knowledge that they were descendants of Pearl Johnson whom was turned into a vampire many generations back. Andie was on the honor roll for much of her academic career and she grew up close with her cousin Dylan Dog. Magic wise she found that she was highly gifted in healing spells and sought to use magic to help people while her brother always seemed more driven toward the darker uses of it.
Andie has always been fascinated by history and facts and as a young girl she was often seen burying her face in books. It could definitely be said that she’s a bit of a dreamer and when her brother left town for university she would of jumped at the chance to leave however her mother getting sick changed this viewpoint drastically as she stayed in town to care for her. This led to her gaining a job at N.R. News Agency. Her curious nature ensured a fast ascension to one of the top ranking reporter slots as she always gets to the bottom of the story. She also tends to have high expectations of people that work under her or she has formed a connection with however she doesn’t judge anyone based on what they’ve done in the past, only who they are now and what they show her they can be. This is demonstrated by her friendship with Damon Salvatore as she is often considered by him to be ‘the only witch he gets along with’ and she’ll do just about anything to help him if he asks. She also helps her cousin Dylan Dog on many of his cases when she can get access to information. About five years ago her brother Maddox went missing and was never heard from again, magic even seemed to be of no use in finding him and the stress caused her mother’s condition to deteriorate until two years ago both of her parents died in a car accident. She also has met Malachi when she was younger and went to stay with relatives in Chicago for a summer when she was a seventeen. He’s actually one of the people whom taught many lessons in using magic.
With her brother returning to town and seemingly willingly working with Klaus what will she do? Why does she keep spending time with Malachi, the evil one? Is he wrapping her into his game or could he care about her on some level? Will she succeed in bringing her brother back from the ‘dark side’? Will her curiosity get her into trouble, as tensions in the supernatural community grow tenser?

Gabriel Cysnos was born in the year 1950 to the ever-growing Cysnos werewolf clan. Growing up the eldest son of three (one sister and one brother) of Atia and Brian Cysnos he was often expected to follow in his father’s footsteps. During his early life he was an average student whom worked hard to help his family especially after the death of his father when Gabriel was fourteen, making him the ‘man of the house’. As time passed he juggled working long shifts at the family’s meat packing plant and school. Soon after he endured his first transformation into a werewolf and being the eldest of the children in the clan he became the alpha of his generation.
In his last year of high school he and new student Thalia fell in love, marrying after graduation having two children, Carol and Mara. As the years past and life in New Orleans went on as usual, until this eldest daughter Carol got involved with a rival werewolf clan by way of Richard Lockwood. As misunderstandings took root and the French Quarter became a practical battleground between both families he eventually drew the line as it became clear the two refused to be parted and he in large part can be credited for pushing that the two families feud end with the birth of Tyler Cysnos-Lockwood.
As the 1990s came a close friendship was formed between the local P.I. Dylan Dog and himself and after Dylan went a bit crazy after the death of his girlfriend Gabriel was one of the few who stood up for him enough to stop people from retaliating against Dylan. With the case that brought Dylan back into the supernatural community his daughter Mara was killed, devastating him and the whole clan. Now with the ritual having just been conducted and his grandson Tyler’s death in aftermath he is dead set on finding a way to kill the hybrid Niklaus Mikaelson.
Will he be able to hold the family together and still united in this time of stress and growing conflict? Will he find a way to go after Klaus? What will he do when some of his family members begin to turn up as Klaus’ hybrids? After all now if Klaus dies so do they. Will he create unlikely alliances? And will this affect his friendship with Dylan?
