Gabriel Cysnos was born in the year 1950 to the ever-growing Cysnos werewolf clan. Growing up the eldest son of three (one sister and one brother) of Atia and Brian Cysnos he was often expected to follow in his father’s footsteps. During his early life he was an average student whom worked hard to help his family especially after the death of his father when Gabriel was fourteen, making him the ‘man of the house’. As time passed he juggled working long shifts at the family’s meat packing plant and school. Soon after he endured his first transformation into a werewolf and being the eldest of the children in the clan he became the alpha of his generation.

In his last year of high school he and new student Thalia fell in love, marrying after graduation having two children, Carol and Mara. As the years past and life in New Orleans went on as usual, until this eldest daughter Carol got involved with a rival werewolf clan by way of Richard Lockwood. As misunderstandings took root and the French Quarter became a practical battleground between both families he eventually drew the line as it became clear the two refused to be parted and he in large part can be credited for pushing that the two families feud end with the birth of Tyler Cysnos-Lockwood.

As the 1990s came a close friendship was formed between the local P.I. Dylan Dog and himself and after Dylan went a bit crazy after the death of his girlfriend Gabriel was one of the few who stood up for him enough to stop people from retaliating against Dylan. With the case that brought Dylan back into the supernatural community his daughter Mara was killed, devastating him and the whole clan. Now with the ritual having just been conducted and his grandson Tyler’s death in aftermath he is dead set on finding a way to kill the hybrid Niklaus Mikaelson.

Will he be able to hold the family together and still united in this time of stress and growing conflict? Will he find a way to go after Klaus? What will he do when some of his family members begin to turn up as Klaus’ hybrids? After all now if Klaus dies so do they. Will he create unlikely alliances? And will this affect his friendship with Dylan?

Damon Salvatore was born in New Orleans in 1840. He’s the older brother of Stefan Salvatore and was generally considered a disappointment by his father because his views didn’t always match with Giuseppe’s. Even though Stefan was favored over him the brothers were inseparable and best friends. That was until Katherine Pierce arrived in town. Staying at the Salvatore’s home she quickly became involved with both brothers creating tensions between them, and was revealed as a vampire. Where as Stefan was compelled much of the time Damon never was and accepted Katherine as a vampire will little to know problems with it. He even quit the Confederate Army to spend more time with Stefan and Katherine. As the town’s council became aware of vampires and formed a plan to round them up and kill them Katherine was captured and as both brothers tried to save her they were shot and killed. Awakening in transition Stefan killed his father and forced Damon to complete the change into a vampire. As the next few months past Stefan turned into a ripper, not caring about whom he killed or even keeping a low profile and finally Damon had to leave his brother though he vowed to provide Stefan with an eternity of misery.

As time progressed Damon and Stefan’s lives crossed paths multiple times over the years with Damon usually causing trouble for Stefan. This all led to the brother’s return to New Orleans in 2011. Damon had returned with the express desire to free Katherine from the tomb at any cost though he meeting Elena Gilbert complicated this. As time progressed he became closer with Elena though he truly didn’t change his ways to some extent until after Katherine was revealed to not be in the tomb and he found himself falling in love with Elena even if she was with his brother. As events in town grew further chaotic with Katherine’s return, Elena’s cousin being turned into a zombie, and finally Originals coming to town Damon had started to get closer with Elena while beginning to care about people and even forming a friendship with Alaric Saltzman of the renowned hunting family. Suffice to say Alaric wasn’t like the rest of the Saltzman’s. He also holds a pretty close friendship with Andie Star, as they had met years earlier when she was in college and he often refers to her as the only witch he’d trust his life with. Finally things between him and Elena became more heated and tense as the ritual drew nearer and Stefan became growingly more distracted by Rebekah. Damon worked harder then anyone to attempt to save her from the fate Klaus had in store for her though he was unable to be the one to save her, something that he refuses to let happen again.

With Elena alive, Isobel back in town, growing tensions in the supernatural community, and Damon’s insistence on getting rid of the Originals once and for all (well, at least daggering them), what will happen next? And what will he do when he learns of Elena’s true ancestry or the fact that Klaus still seeks her blood to make hybrids?
