ok i like to have FUN ok FUCK canon i will do what i want with pregame kaito because what we were given was TERRIBLE.
pregame kaito is crazy competitive. not in a freak way a la his audition tape, but moreso like in gym class he makes the teacher make the whole class versus him in things like dodgeball. he doesnt get his ass kicked as much as one might expect.
also.....adhd king. he has a motor mouth and sometimes his brain runs too fast for his speech to keep up so he sometimes comes off as ineloquent and even crude at times but hes not an inherently malicious guy.
he and pg!kokichi have a rivalry thats super manufactured but theyre both super into it. they both have prank youtube channels and its so fucking dumb they directly modeled their rivalry after the paul brothers. i Do think theyre friends though; kaito is the one egging kokichi on to do dumb shit like heelying down the stairs and drinking mystery liquids people (mostly kaito) give him to drink on a dare.
like most of the pg characters, id say hes more reserved than his ingame self, but hes not a freak! hes just a dumbass tryhard
