How do you fight your demons?
Night scribbles 🌚📒🖊 #nightscribbles
Numbing the longing. One of my old writings. #hellopoetry #poems #nightscribbles
It's one of those post-holiday nights and I was listening to music and I had a huge inspiration to draw Agni Raj and an hour later there is no going back. Completely taken by Josh Groban's powerful version of the song "Where I Wanna Be". The feels!

12/11/12 In public she smiles, answers, breathes, left foot first, commands her brain to function as if there weren't a care in the world. To socialize, to be brave for those who need it, to be the rock, the glue, to make decisions, and laugh at indecision. "I know, yes, you are absolutely right", become the adequate answer to everything. Morning comes and she rises, remains active among others, it's the night that is the hardest. When all are gone, and the halls are empty she faces her demons. They have been neatly folded and put away in a locked box, placed in a drawer with a dummy compartment. She does not bother to undress, she climbs onto her bed and crawls to the center, crawling because she has no energy to keep herself up anymore. Her knees and arms tremble, and she crumbles. Oh what sweet release! She lays there, on her back, come complete silence. But even silence itself has a defining hum about it. A hum she feels gets louder, building a pressure that clogs her ears, weighs down her eyes, and tenses her jaw. Through shut eyes, a hot tear leaves her duct, and pulled by gravity crawls gracefully between her lids searching for the crevice that will grant it freedom to land upon her cheek. No smiles, no answers, her brain is free to do as it sees fit. Her lungs expand and contract with a burning freedom.
