Varian was nervously wandering around Corona, heading in the general direction of the castle. He hoped to run into someone he knew before he got there, and low and behold- he did. 

He might have been relieved, had it not been for the fact that the problem at hand wouldn’t be instantly fixed as soon as someone else aside from him knew about it. But still, it was better to address it sooner rather than later.

“Xande?” He began, approaching the other boy. “Uh, hi. I don’t know if you’re the best person to go to about this, but I’ve got... a bit of a problem at home.” He began, trying not to betray how scared he actually was inside.

“Can we... talk somewhere we won’t be overheard?”

Russell’s first reaction upon seeing Bennett was to visibly recoil. The eyes- it was so unsettling. Not that the imagery by itself disturbed him. No, it disturbed him because it reminded him of something he might have seen in...

He stopped that thought process in it’s tracks, letting the startled expression fall off of his face. Taking a deep breath, he held out his hand.

“Hi. I’m Russell.”

“Y’know, honestly? I’ve never been one to look too much into ASTRONOMY. But, I mean, there’s a FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING, right? Guess I’ve just been so focused on things DOWN HERE that I never really... BOTHERED to care about what’s UP THERE.” | @nightxobserver​ for astre

— ✿ Why did she leave the tree house? On all nights, she picked the one night she shouldn’t be out. It was a full moon. Which meant Catalina werewolf state. She was too far from the tree house and was still learning to control her new abilities. So she had to carefully make her way back without others seeing. Who would see? No one should be out in the forest at night.

She saw the silhouette of a person and tried to carefully sneak away. Of course her steps were making heavy steps. Quickly, she tried to blend in with a nearby bush.

Rumors of a boy who charted the stars wandering the outskirts of Corona had eagerly garnered Rapunzel’s attention. Her years within the tower, studying the stars in the sky as they moved beyond her window had always been something that the princess had adored as a hobby. Without my fuss, the blonde was gone from the palace and eager to meet this…Astronomer.

A small living quarters stumbled upon, Rapunzel halted her steed to dismount and investigate the strange set up. It seemed rather quiet, as if those staying within were vacated for the moment, despite the fact the sun was still lingering in it’s downward cycle. “Hello?” She called, glancing around. “Is anyone here? My name is Princess Rapunzel. I’m looking for someone…who studies the sky?”

“Hey- I haven’t seen you around here before.” Old Corona doesn’t get visitors very often. Varian’s not sure why- now that it’s been rebuilt, it’s a nice place, away from the bustle of the city.
