The life of a woman is cheap. Cheaper than movie tickets.
The life of a woman is cheap. Cheaper than movie tickets. The proof of our oppression is masked as entertainment, and then flung at our faces as education. If both entertainment and education are deemed mindless, what then? Where do we go? It has become difficult to think. There’s distractions to avoid, there’s genocide to not avoid, there’s work to be done, there’s life to be lived, there’s chores to be carried out, there’s you, there’s me, and there’s the world. But we must move beyond selling the few free moments we create for ourselves to movies produced solely to provoke. We must try and understand how society ‘expresses horror’ at Hathras and destroys none of its roots. How its roots continue in real and reel. Raging is easy. We must, instead, learn.
job | nihira & caleb
for: @nihirabheriya location: chissob hills fire department
Caleb had pulled some strings through his connections at Zamok to allow a certain prisoner to lend a hand at the fire department that day. Ever since he was instrumental in sending Nihira Bheriya to the penitentiary for something he did not think was her fault, he had been trying to make amends -- as much as he could manage at least. The Thoda Laal wolf had refused every attempt of his to visit her at Zamok and he did not begrudge her decision, but Caleb still wanted to try to do what he could to make it so that she did not have to be locked up when he could help it.
It was a job had been thrown to Caleb at first and he convinced his boss to allow him some help. It was the reason Nihira was in his office that day as an extra set of hands that he needed to help archive and digitise boxes and boxes of paper reports from years past.
“Thanks for helping us out today,” the alpha said to the other wolf as he opened the closest box and pulled out the stack of paper from within.

this post contains SA language DISCOURSE ^TM : SUBJECT TO CRITIQUE
Hindi has been forced down A LOT of people’s throats across India specifically “TRADITIONAL HINDI” erasing regional dialects such as bhojpuri and braj. (( I am someone who’s first language ISNT hindi btw )) While I 100000000% percent agree that hindi isn’t the “INDIAN” language because India as a concept is entirely made up and false. And I’m also against people saying that all Indians know or speak hindi. What is the problem with me typing in hindi on my blog or making posts in hindi? This is my blog? I’m not trying to make content inaccessible sometimes I just want to type in hindi? just like sometimes i type in punjabi? ? what’s the sitch here. ?
