A new day had started and along with it began Gilbert's first day as a teacher in a new school. He had woken up ealier than usual, around 4:35 a.m. just to make sure that he was well prepared for his new job. In fact, he had not been able to sleep well the previous night in spite of his younger brother warnings when he told Gilbert around midnight to stop playing video games and go to bed (which he didn't really do).

But aside of that, he was actually passionate about his job, always aiming for the best and proud of his own and his students hard work. He loved learning new things, and loved to give others the chance to do the same. Gilbert could not help it but to let out a content sigh when he crossed the entrance of the building. Quickly announcing his arrival before entering the teacher's room to meet up with his new colleagues.

It was a quiet morning. It was too early. But not even the circles under his eyes could stop Gilbert from the excitement he was feeling that day.

"It’s a little inconvenient to have guests without warning, but…" Kiku stepped aside anyway. "Please come in. What snacks were you thinking?"

He walked into the house, "Dorayaki would be fine." and went to the living room, noticing the paused screen. Caring not, he pressed the 'play' button.
