Lettie is, without a doubt in Andy’s mind, the closest thing he’ll ever have to a daughter. It doesn’t matter if they don’t speak for years, or she’s screaming at him until she’s blue in the face. She joined the found family he and Rowan created in their early twenties, joined later on by Ryder as well. He’s always thought of her as his kid, despite the fact that he’s only about twelve years older than her. It was easy to see that her older sister had no interest in caring for Lettie when she showed up at the shop, nor did her father invest much in her, either. The two bonded easily, and before he knew it -- They were family, and nothing can change that for him. Even if he’d pushed his family away before, Andy has no intent on losing her again.

A callous grin appears on Seth’s face because he can’t help but revel in the idea of it. President? That’s the thing Seth wants most and for so goddamn long it’s been just out of reach. Will he? Won’t he? The game of cat and mouse that has left Seth starved for power. Although he wish he could say that killing Kane would be sad or even that he’d be remorseful, he can’t imagine either of those emotions when it comes to his death. Seth shrugs, “You bet your fuckin’ ass I would. Sorry, Kane, but that shit is mine, ain’t no looking back.”

“Yep, mainly because I know Rowan would risk own her life for Andy, anyway. So maybe it’s best that Andy has someone to blame it on once he enters that stage of grief. He’d find out it was me eventually, his brain isn’t made of rocks. Also, I’d go for saving Andy because he’s the one person in my life that goes way back, as far as my memory can go. He’s my best friend. Rowan came way later, and that cancels out the options, like PEMDAS.” He’s drunk, the stupidity level is a little all over the place. “This is kinda fucked up, though. I mean, what kinda scenario even is this? What are they like, fuckin’ dangling off a cliff or something, because I know for a fact I can bench press Rowan’s little ass and hold up Andy at the same time. So in reality, they’d both live. With these guns? Come on. Get with it, man.”

reina + being touched

Reina hates being touched. Period. I’m not gonna delve into the psychology of it all because it has to do with her fucked up childhood and ain’t nobody here to read about that but y’all get it I’m sure. Even the slightest touch makes her tense up, and she can really only stand the touch of another person when she’s having sex with them or if she’s extremely, extremely comfortable with them. There is nothing worse to her than a pat on the back or, God forbid, a hug from someone she barely knows and she’s not quiet about her distaste for it in the slightest. She hates cuddling, hates any sort of sweet touch or intimacy other than sex, and honestly she doesn’t even consider sex to be something intimate. 

Reina just generally prefers that people keep their hands to themselves around her, or she will threaten to cut them off. Not that she ever follows that rule herself, because her hypocrite ass has no problem slapping people or grabbing people by the jaw, clearly.

He couldn’t help but wonder if this had been a bad idea -- But Lettie had been on his mind since the shoot out, when his thoughts weren’t occupied by worrying over Rowan they trailed off to the person he once concerned to be like a child to him. She had been the one to flip the van, the one who killed her sister. From the things he heard from Rowan, gossip around town, and the obvious of putting two and two together -- He could figure it out. They had spoken briefly, in the eye of  the storm the two had shared text messages before Henry Fisher came out and told Andy his wife’s fate. And now, another brief conversation -- Where are you staying? He typed it out slowly, from his own nerves and his inability to keep up with the upgraded iphone Rowan made him swap to. 

It leads him to Desmond Grayson’s home, somewhere Andy didn’t want to be but wouldn’t let his feet turn him around and take him back to his bike. His last conversation with the home owner had been... Well, horrific. Filled with coked-out threatens and nearly choking Desmond to death. This was a disaster waiting to happen, but Lettie meant more to him than his childish mistakes would -- Even if their relationship had taken a turn for the disastrous, he still cared for her deeply, still believed she was part of his family even if she didn’t share the same sentiment. He knocks three times, clenching his jaw as he braces for impact. A short lived wave of relief arrives as she answers the door, before he tenses up again. “Hey, kid.” He opens with, shoving his hands into the pockets of his cut. Andy can’t help but feel like the piece of leather weighs more nowadays, and with Lettie having left before Trojans -- Thank god she’d only been a Prospect -- the fabric holds him down rather than keeps him grounded. “You look like shit.” He begins, teasing her. “Guess you take after me in that sense.” He speaks lightly, despite the tension that hangs in the air, kicking himself for having spoken at all.

The question has her brows furrowing and eyes narrowing in a mixture of irritation and disbelief. “No.” The word tumbles out without her even really having to think about it. There are so many things in her life that she is disappointed in. Even her relationship with Lettie has a laundry list of things that she’s disappointed in how they played out, things that she looks back on and wishes she had done differently, things that she wishes she could go back and change because maybe then the outcome would be different. But Lettie as a person? No, never. Absolutely Lettie’s made some shit choices over the last few years, but who in her life hasn’t? Even she has made more stupid choices than she could even begin to count. But Lettie is still who she is —- a good person. Someone with a kind heart and a good soul inside of her, someone she she loves, and someone is she proud to have played even a small part in bringing up. “Stupid fucking question.”
