Ulani had figured that if random people were being kidnapped on an island that was supposed to keep them all safe, she figured it wouldn’t hurt to fly back home to the Philippines to check on her grandparents. They were doing quite well, but it was so nice to be with family, even though the skirted around the whole lesbian thing. The last thing she needed to hear the moment she got back was that there was a mix-up with her insurance policies and that she had to make a personal appearance to sort it all out. Honestly, you’d think with all this new technology, they would have figured out a way for her to fix it over the phone or on the internet. She sighed as she fidgeted with the corner of her blouse impatiently, until an unfamiliar man sat across from her. “I’m sorry, who are you? I thought I was meeting with Emily, today. Are you lost?”
