I’m so happy with this ☺️ I made this logo for a friend/family that trusted me enough to come up with something for a project he’s been working on. He absolutely loved it, and that makes me so happy. I didn’t come up with this overnight. It took sketching, research, and brain power to keep my creativity flowing. But we got here within decent time. It has been quite awhile since I shared any graphics I’ve created. With attending college, doing student teaching, and playing mother and wife, I’ve had little time. Tonight though, I managed to find some time to work on Milli the Mail Snail.

Pet Profile - Ichneuma - Common Bumbus - Parasitoid Wasp, Caterpillars, Educational

Current and Previous - Ichneuma is one of my oldest pets on Subeta, and in both her forms, she was an educational focused pet, specifically on parasitoid wasps. When the new Spotlight rules went live a few years ago, she didn't make the cut, and it spurred me to finally create something acceptable and worthy of her content. 

I like insects. Actually like is a lie. I love insects, and parasitoid wasps have always been a favorite of mine. I took an Entomology class in college and these little guys are pretty common when bug catching and were very prevalent in my collection. They are incredibly diverse genera, and their life cycles are all very different. While they are require the aid of another host insect or plant, they generally are dependent on that particular creature they've chosen to be parasites to. It's amazing, and I love it.

Ichneuma won the Spotlight today, Feb. 4th, and I am just overwhelmed by the number of comments she received. Almost all those posts had a common thread, how much that user enjoyed learning. It made me so happy, and did exactly what she was intended to do, teach.
