Owen/Sam: Nothing's changed? You and me. That was--

Alex: I don't know what that was.

Owen/Sam: Well, then--hey, hey, hey, hey--let's find out. I meant what I said back there, okay? You make me want to be better.

Alex: I just started to figure out who I am. You can't expect me to tell you who you are too.

Owen/Sam: What do I got to do to prove myself to you?

Alex: I don't want you to prove anything to me. This is about you, who you really are, not who you're willing to pretend to be to make me happy. I don't know who Sam is, and neither do you. You figure that out, then we'll see.

Nikita: How is he?

Birkhoff: He's a lot more focused than I've seen him in a while.

Nikita: I know when I left, I hurt him. It hurt me too. Did he say anything? After I left?

Birkhoff: About you? He didn't say anything.

Nikita: Not once?

Birkhoff: Not in front of us.

Nikita: Percy assigned me to that OP.

Michael: And I told him you should be benched. You suffered a loss.

Nikita: I suffered a loss? Daniel wasn't hit by a bus.

Michael: Look, I know what you're trying to do. You blame yourself for his death. You think you should have been the one to die. Believe me, I get it. But killing yourself will not bring Daniel back, it just makes you both dead.

Nikita: What if that's what I want?

Michael: Well, I don't. Nikita, you are not alone. You have people who care about you. I don't want to lose you. You can't see that right now. But you do have something to live for.

Michael: Nikita, please. I have nothing left. If you die, I die.

Nikita: All right. All right, we'll do it your way.

Michael: Thank you.

Nikita: I thought you--you said you needed to be part of something bigger than yourself.

Michael: Yeah, but there are other ways of doing that. One of the few good things I picked up during my time in Division is learning that I like being a teacher.

Nikita: What were the other good things?

Michael: You.
